I was born and raised on Long Island and have been proud to call Smithtown home for the past 14 years. As the husband of Jennifer, a dedicated Smithtown educator, and father to twin girls attending Smithtown Schools, I'm deeply invested in our community's educational excellence. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, I've balanced my professional career while actively volunteering as both a soccer and little league coach. My commitment to education extends well beyond parenting.

Prior to being elected to the Board of Education in 2025, I regularly attended Smithtown Central School District Board of Education, instructional, and policy meetings, served as a PTA council delegate at our elementary school where I chaired and volunteered for numerous events, acted as a site-based team alternate, and served as a class parent, working to strengthen the connection between families and our school community.

Since joining the Board, I have served on the Facilities and Policy Committee, participated as a member of the District-Wide Safety Team, and am proud to serve as a liaison to the PTA Council and a liaison and member of the Smithtown Industry Advisory Board.

As a project manager with a prominent Long Island real estate developer and general contractor, I bring a hands-on approach to overseeing multi-million dollar residential and commercial projects from start to finish. I have managed individual projects with budgets exceeding $70,000,000 and have extensive experience navigating complex contract negotiations to deliver favorable outcomes for all parties involved. My commitment to detail and focus on results have been central to my professional success, consistently bringing projects in on time and within budget. I am also a proud member of the Long Island Builders Institute, where I remain engaged with industry leaders and stay current on the construction and development trends shaping our region.

As your school board member, my priorities are straightforward:

  • Modernizing Our Learning Environments — Ensuring our facilities are safe, secure, and equipped with the technology and infrastructure students need to thrive, while managing resources responsibly and protecting the investments of our taxpayers.

  • Strengthening Community Connections — Opening meaningful lines of communication between parents, educators, and administrators so that every voice helps shape our district's direction, policies, and long-term vision.

  • Empowering Every Learner — Championing instructional approaches that meet students where they are, directing resources strategically, and implementing proven methods that address the full range of learners in our district.

  • Protecting Your Investment — Applying sound financial oversight and forward-thinking planning to deliver a high-quality education while keeping tax rates fair and sustainable for our families and community.

My perspective is shaped by a combination of lived experience and professional expertise. As a parent with children in our schools, the spouse of a Smithtown educator, and a construction industry professional who understands the realities of fiscal responsibility and facilities management firsthand. That blend of insight gives me a practical, grounded approach to the challenges and opportunities facing our district.

Together, we can build on Smithtown's strong foundation — making sure our students and staff have everything they need to excel, while honoring our commitment to the taxpayers who make it all possible.
